In a battle between two of the best inside players in the PAC, Saint Vincent’s Taylor Mathers won her head-to-head matchup with W&J’s Val Dunlap as the Bearcats routed the Presidents, 90-61. Mathers finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds, one shy of her career best on the glass, and scored two buckets during a 16-0 run in the first half that put the Bearcats in control of the game. The win for St. Vincent sets the stage for a major clash on Saturday when the Bearcats visit No. 2 Thomas More, a game that will be broadcast live on the PAC Sports Network.
