Saint Vincent built a 16-point lead at the half and survived a late rally by Waynesburg for a 71-68 win at the Rudy Marisa Field House. Graduate student Mara Benvenuti filled the stat sheet with an 18 point night, adding four steals, four rebounds and three assists. Coming up with clutch plays down the stretch to help Saint Vincent stave off the Yellow Jackets comeback bid, Benvenuti was selected as the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game.
