Saint Vincent junior guard Mara Benveniti scored a career-high 27 points to lead Saint Vincent to its first conference win of the season, defeating Chatham by a score of 79-59 in the Carey Center. Tied 7-7 in the first quarter, Benvenuti sparked a 10-point run that gave the Bearcats a lead they would never relinquish and was a constant force throughout the night. For her efforts, Benvuniti was chosen as the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
