Facing the well-disciplined Grove City Wolverines and their vaunted defense, sophomore Babette Sanmartin and the Saint Vincent Bearcats turned up the intensity for an important 55-41 win. Sanmartin was one of the emotional leaders for the Bearcats and gave the team 14 points and eight rebounds in a winning effort. Because of her physical inside play, and the importance of that role in the outcome of the game, Sanmartin was selected as the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game. The PAC Sports Network’s Nate Regotti interviewed Sanmartin following the win.
