Senior forward James Wells netted his 1,000th career point to help propel host Grove City to a 75-66 win over Bethany. Wells tallied 14 points, along with eight rebounds, to become the 29th Grove City player all-time to surpass the 1,000-point plateau. For the Wolverines, the win was their eighth in a row, their longest winning streak since the 1990-91 season when they won 11 straight on their way to a PAC championship. Sitting at 1,004 points in his career, Wells was tabbed the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
