Stat Line: 21 points, 4-for-8 on 3-pointers, 5 rebounds
The two hottest teams in the PAC met on Saturday and the Saint Vincent Bearcats extended their winning streak to 11 straight with a 57-53 win over No. 23 W&J at the Carey Center. Saint Vincent’s victory snapped W&J’s winning streak at 16 in a row. The Bearcats got off to a quick start and finished strong thanks in part to a 21-point effort from Emily Cavacini. The junior guard poured in 4-of-8 shots from beyond the arc and was the game-high scorer in a defensive oriented content. Cavacini also converted 7-of-8 from the free throw line to help SVC close out the win. For her efforts, Cavacini was named the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game.
