W&J locked up the No. 1 seed for the upcoming PAC Tournament in dramatic fashion on Wednesday night with an 82-80 come-from behind victory at Geneva. The Presidents trailed by as much as 24 points in the first half (40-16) and put together a furious rally to storm back against the Golden Tornadoes. A catalyst for the comeback was senior guard Kyran Mitchell, who netted a team-high 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field. Mitchell added five rebounds and was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line to help the reigning PAC champs secure the victory. W&J outscored Geneva, 50-34, in the second half. For his role in the rally, Mitchell was tabbed the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game by the PAC Sports Network.
