PAC Sports Network To Broadcast Bethany, Carnegie Mellon Football

(Pittsburgh, PA) – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Sports Network is proud to announce a partnership with Bethany College and Carnegie Mellon University to broadcast home college football games throughout the 2023 season.

The PAC Sports Network will broadcast and simulcast all home football games for Bethany and CMU, including potential postseason games, on the schools’ respective websites as well as on www.pacstream.net. All games will be video streamed.

“The PAC Sports Network is excited to partner with both Bethany College and Carnegie Mellon University for the upcoming football season,” said PACSN owner Randy Gore. “Our roots in the PAC began 13 years ago and we’re eager to expand upon that with these two great institutions within the conference.”

The thrilling action on college football Saturdays will be described by an array of talented and well-seasoned broadcasters, including Gore, Jared Barton, Donny Chedrick, Rob McKinney, Bob Orkwis, Jack Ridenour and Jonathan Spina.

“We are truly fortunate to be a part of the PAC Sports Network. Randy and the team do a tremendous job highlighting our games and our students, and we are grateful for all of their efforts to promote Division III Athletics and PAC competition,” said Carnegie Mellon Director of Athletics Josh Centor.

The 2023 season will mark the third consecutive year that the PAC Sports Network and its broadcasters will provide coverage for the back-to-back reigning PAC champion and No. 16- ranked CMU Tartans.

“We are extremely fortunate that we are able to have our student-athletes showcased on the PAC Sports Network during the PAC Media Day as well as during regular season games,” said Carnegie Mellon head coach Ryan Larsen. “It has been a great partnership for the past three years, as it allows our program to be exposed to a national broad audience.”

PACSN and Bethany College will partner for football coverage for the first time in the fall of 2023 but have had a long-standing relationship in years past with regular PACSN programming. Bethany student Dylan Bozica will join PACSN’s announce crew as a color commentator for all games at Don Ault Field at Bison Stadium.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Randy and his crew at the PAC Sports Network,” said Bethany Director of Athletics Brian Sansom. “They provide first-class coverage for the student-athletes throughout the PAC and Division III. We are excited to have the PAC Sports Network extend our coverage that will directly benefit our student-athletes, teams, alumni, and fans.”

A football program that is looking to rise in the PAC ranks this season, the Bethany Bison are led by second-year head coach Brandon Robinson. The Bison are seeking their first winning record in the PAC since 2018.

“We are extremely excited to partner with the PAC Sports Network this season,” said Robinson. “They do an amazing job promoting the student-athletes at PAC Media Day and we look forward to their partnership for years to come.”

Additionally, PACSN will provide play-by-play and color commentary for non-conference and University Athletic Association (UAA) home events for Carnegie Mellon for the following sports: men’s and women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball.

The first home football broadcasts for Bethany and Carnegie Mellon are slated for Sept. 9. The Bison will host W&J and CMU will host Saint Vincent.
