The Franciscan Barons started fast and finished strong on Wednesday night with an 82-75 victory over Thiel at the Finnegan Field House. The Barons stormed out of the gates for a 25-12 lead midway through the first half and never looked back, capturing their second conference win of the season. Leading the charge was redshirt junior Josh Zimmerman, who poured in a season-high 22 points. The 6-2 guard shot 9-of-13 from the field and added seven rebounds, two steals and two assists. For his efforts, Zimmerman was tabbed the Foster Law Offices Player of the Game.
